Some people believe that there are certain songs you just don’t fuck with, that you should never cover, remix or remake in any way, shape or form. I don’t subscribe to this point of view, so it always makes me happy when someone has the cajones to take on one of these sacred cows.
Divide & Kreate whom I happen to feel has always been one of the leading mash-up/remix artists of the last few years, has taken on Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and created a completely different beast, a frankenstein’s monster of guitars, electronics, tambourines and Chuck D that is stupidly contagious. Bring the Noise indeed!

Interesting remix, and I enjoyed many of the ones linked on his site, like Thin White Duke’s remix of ‘Talk’ by Coldplay which was mixed with ‘Until it Sleeps’ by Metallica. Good stuff.
